Parenting Program

Our center offers parenting classes sponsored by the Kronkosky Foundation in collaboration with Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA), Antioch Baptist Church, and San Antonio Fighting Back. Every other Saturday, parents and caretakers gather at the Center to learn and discuss the developmental stages of children from birth through early childhood. We examine ways to improve and enrich our environments for our children so that they may achieve their potential in all visual, auditory, linguistic, sensory, emotional, intellectual and physical skills. We also learn ways to teach our children life skills for a productive adult life. In this setting caregivers and parents will not only learn new insights, but also how to nurture themselves and their relationships with spouses and children.
