Senior Services Program

In this program we offer to low income senior
citizens, 60 years and older, an opportunity to
eat nutritious, well-balanced noon meals, served
in a congregate setting. Additionally, seniors
will find a welcoming and friendly environment
to socialize with peers, and participate in
educational and recreational group activities.
Activities include: arts and crafts, quilting,
sewing, table games, bingo, choir, computer
classes, movie time, special event celebrations,
field trips and more.
Supportive services offered include:
transportation (immediate area), weekly shopping
assistance, exercise, as well as health and safety
awareness activities.
Services are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ella Austin Community
Center now provides an Adult Daycare Center from
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Ella Austin Community Center
currently has an opening for an
experienced License Vocational Nurse.
Applicant must be computer literate and
knowledgeable with Medicaid/ private
insurance billing. Bilingual a plus!!

to Senior Citizens, 60 years and over.
- We served over 20,000 nutritious noon
meals in our seniors program.
- We delivered over 7,000 meals to
homebound seniors in the community.
- We are a Project Hope distribution site.
